is my favourite time of the year. The reasons for this are many. It’s a time when everything unnecessary is pealed away in church and in life. A time that gives me an opportunity to reflect over what is important and what is not. I also like that the readings during Lent often deals with “tough” issues like the struggle against evil. Because of this, I often find it easy to write my sermons during Lent as the struggle against evil takes place everyday in our world. I also like Lent because it leads up to Easter. It gives us time to prepare for our meeting with the risen Christ. What could be more important? Please join us this coming Sunday at 5 pm at S:t Mikael, Kiliansgatan 9 and next Tuesday at 7 pm for Bible study at the Student Chaplaincy.
