One of Swedens most attractive cathedrals

Every year more than 700,000 people visit Lund Cathedral.

People of all ages and descriptions are attracted here for a variety of reasons. Besides those who attend services or seek spiritual renewal, there are many tourists groups from different countries, school classes as well as visiting parties from other churches and congregations.

Our visiting groups with their diverse interests and purposes are often in the Cathedral at the same time. We who work in the Cathedral aim to make all who come to us feel very welcome. But we would nevertheless remind people that the Cathedral is a House of God, an ongoing haven of reverence, worship and prayer, and not merely for the duration of services.

On this website you will find practical information for people who are planning to visit Lund Cathedral. You are warmly welcomed to this shrine of Christian faith and leading example of Nordic Romanesque architecture!
