To anyone organizing tours to Lund Cathedral
Welcome to Lund Cathedral. To make your visit here as pleasant as possible here are a few things to consider. Please note that there is a limit of 50 people being in the cathedral at the same time, to mimize the risk of spreadning the corina virus.

Close to 800 000 people visit Lund cathedral every year, many of them for sightseeing. Tour groups must contact our visitor service prior to visit by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. This is to ensure your visit does not coincide with other events inside the Cathedral such as Services, Weddings, Funerals etc during which the cathedral is closed för visitors. Do you wish to book one of our guides for a private tour? We offer tours in English, German and Spanish (30-45 minutes),
- Regular opening hours, weekdays: 1300 SEK
- Regular opening hours, weekend: 1500 SEK
- Organized tour groups pay a fee of 600 SEK on arrival
Please note that the maximum number of people in a group is 25.

The Cathedral is first and foremost a place of worship. There are several Services every day and in the afternoons there are also sometimes funeral services. On occasions the Cathedral crypt might be closed due to preparations. Also evey Saturday at 10 in the morning the is a free organ concert in the Cathedral and the Cathedral is not open for sightseeing until the concert is over. Sunday mass is at 11 am and 5 pm.
Tour groups should always check in with the attendants in the Cathedral before they start sightseeing.
If you plan to guide your group, there is a fee of – 600 Swedish Kronor (65 Euro). You will be asked to pay before commencement preferably by voucher or credit/debitcard. The baptismal chapel on the north side is always reserved for prayer and silence – sightseeing and photography is not allowed there. Keep your group together and please inform them to keep voices low as this is a place of worship.
