Welcome to Lund Cathedral. To make your visit here as pleasant as possible here are a few things to consider.

Lots of people visit Lund cathedral every year. Tour groups must contact our visitor service prior to visit by This is to ensure your visit does not coincide with other events inside the Cathedral such as Services, Weddings etc. On our you can see our daily schedule.

Do you wish to book one of our guides for a private tour? We offer tours in English, German and Spanish (30-45 minutes), at a cost of 1300 SEK (approximately 130 EUR). Please note that we can not guarantee that guides are available if you book later than two weeks prior to visit. The Cathedral is first and foremost a place of worship. There are several Services every day and in the afternoons there are also sometimes funeral services. On occasions the Cathedral crypt might be closed due to preparations. Also evey Saturday at 10 in the morning the is a free organ concert in the Cathedral and the Cathedral is not open for sightseeing until the concert is over. Sunday mass is at 11 am and 5 pm.

Tour groups should always check in with the attendants in the Cathedral before they start sightseeing. If you plan to guide your group, there is a fee of  – 500 Swedish Kronor (50 Euro). You will be asked to pay before commencement. The baptismal chapel on the north side is always reserved for prayer and silence – sightseeing and photography is not allowed there. Keep your group together and please inform them to keep voices low as this is a place of worship.
